DR. ARI COHEN
DR ARI COHEN wants you to know that the digital age of dentistry is going to be much more patient friendly experience. Using a digital 3D intra-oral scanner allows for the flow of treatment and communication with outside labs to be much quicker and more efficient. Cohen Dentistry now uses digital scanning to create 3D printed models, dentures and crowns in the most durable, cosmetic and safe materials.
Dr. Ari received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY at Buffalo and then went on to complete a General Practice Residency with a large focus in oral surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. He is licensed to practice dentistry in both Israel and New York State.
Dr. Ari has completed hundreds of hours of CE credits in topics such as implant dentistry, craniofacial sleep medicine, facial aesthetic treatments and restorative dentistry. His undergraduate degree from Fordham University was completed with a major in visual arts and a minor in Spanish, both of which he brings to his practice. His deep understanding of aesthetics aides in dentofacial procedures and techniques. Dr. Ari is fluent in both Spanish and Hebrew and he would like to speak more languages. Hobbies include CROSSFIT training, art and fashion, bicycling and travel.
DR. JEFFREY COHEN
DR. JEFFREY COHEN has been practicing dentistry for over 40 years and he takes that clinical expertise with him to the patients benefit. Dr. Jeffrey received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY at Buffalo and then relocated to Sullivan County, New York where he has practiced ever since. He is a member of many dental associations and he has completed thousands of hours of continuing education courses to continually better himself to provide the best possible treatment for his patients. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthodontics, the New York State Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Implantology.
Dr. Jeffrey has prolific experience in the areas of implant dentistry, orthodontics and restorative dentistry. He likes to consider himself a “one stop for all your dental needs” and wants you to feel comfortable during and after your dental treatments. His approach to total oral reconstruction is to see the larger picture and offer a solution and treatment plan that satisfies the cosmetic and functional needs in the most predictable way. Dr. Jeffrey is often referred to as a master at his craft. His hobbies include collecting art and antiques, landscaping and playing around on his tractor.
CAROL CULVER, RDH
CAROL CULVER, RDH has been in dental hygiene for over 20 years and has a special way at making the patients relax and treat them in the most gentle way possible. Ms. Carol studied dental hygiene in Long Island before moving to Upstate New York so that she could be able to ride her horses more often or be at the stables.
Carol continues to take CE credits to keep current on the most up to date information and treatment regarding your gum and teeth health. As a hygienist Carol is the first step in early detection of periodontal disease, bone loss and tooth decay buy taking check up xrays and performing a thorough intra-oral dental and soft tissue exam.

Cohen Dentistry has entered the age of digital dentistry and we would like to bring our patients with us. Our office is now equipped with the VA TECH GREEN CT SCANNER, a TRIOS 3SHAPE intraoral scanner to aid in the diagnosing and treatment planning of dental implants, bone grafts, sinus lifts, wisdom teeth extractions and Sleep Apnea and Airway Dentisry. These technologies allows us to be more precise in our treatment outcomes and expectations. We have also incorporated 3D optical scanning for impressions which will replace the old standard molds that are very uncomfortable for patients. This also cuts down on time with the lab as all information can be sent via digital files shortening the turn around time needed in the lab for prosthetics fabrication. Using 3D printing and CAD/CAM technologies are making the experience for patients better by making it less uncomfortable and speeding up the process.
